Buddy is a 15 yr old registered Quarter Horse who has perfect ground manners and a super cute face. With a wide back and soft gaits, Buddy is known for teaching his riders the importance of using their leg and seat as aids. Buddy is new to our farm as of Fall 2011.

Case is one of our biggest horses - reaching up to 17.2hh - with one of the biggest personalities. Originally an Open Jumper who traveled the world competing, Case is enjoying an early retirement at 18 years of age at Misty Meadows Farm.

Chief is an aged (30-something?) Paint pony who is known for escaping from his pasture. Semi-retired, Chief comes out to play for our smaller riders who are working on their confidence level, or perfecting their bareback trotting.

Chuck is a chestnut, 18 year old, Morgan cross gelding. Chuck is the per­fect size for most of our rid­ers, with smooth gaits and a sweet per­son­al­ity. Chuck started his career as an event pony, and now spends his days care­fully car­ry­ing riders in the ring and on the trail.

Leo is a 15 yr old Paint pony with huge gaits and a super cute personality. He loves to be brushed and handled on the ground; and he teaches his riders the true meaning of "suspension"!

Lexi is a 22yr old Trakhener/Thoroughbred cross mare, standing 15.3hh. She has a sweet personality and a springy stride, making her an immediate favorite around the barn.

Lumpé is a 15 yr old Welsh pony, new to the farm in 2011. Lumpé is well-seasoned, having spent many years on the Pony H/J circuit. He provides riders an opportunity to take their experience to the next level, while still challenging their skills both on the ground and in the saddle.

MacGyver is a bay, 19 year old, Connemera cross gelding. He is known for his impres­sions of “Oscar the Grouch,” but once you get to know him, he is a real sweet­heart. Mac­Gyver was a show horse for many years before he joined the Misty Meadows family.

Pepper is a flea-bitten gray, 24 year old, Connemera cross gelding. He is calm, safe and steady — always. Pep­per is known best for his steadfast dedication to the special needs kids in the Mitey Rider program.

Raider is an 11 yr old purebred Cleveland Bay - a big boy reaching up to 16.3hh! Raider has a playful personality and smooth gaits. He hates windy days and the new horse, Buddy. Raider arrived at Misty Meadows in July of 2011.

Red is a liver chestnut, 26 year old, Welsh cross gelding. He is one of the longest-standing mem­bers of our equine fam­ily at Misty Meadows — hav­ing been part of the pro­gram for over 10 years. Red is a HUGE favorite among rid­ers and staff alike. His inquis­i­tive expres­sion, love of peanut but­ter crack­ers and stead­fast per­son­al­ity charms everyone.

Snow Lilly is a gray, 20 year old, Welsh pony mare. She was a fancy show pony before she joined Misty Meadows years ago, and now she is a favorite among every­one. Her desire to roll in any­thing she can find has earned her the appro­pri­ate nick­name of “Dirt Lilly” most of the time.

Sugar is a palomino, 11 year old, Welsh Pony mare with unique peach-colored dap­ples on her coat. She is great for our smaller rid­ers, and has a mis­chie­vous side, too! Sugar is sweet as can be, and loves to be with her friends, Snow Lilly and Chief in their paddock.

Tank is an aged Quarter Horse pony who arrived at Misty Meadows in the fall of 2011. He has a sweet personality, and even though he is on the lazy side, is one of our most trustworthy animals.

Tux is an 10 yr old Pinto pony who is quickly learning the ropes. His bold coloring and sweet disposition made him a fast favorite at the farm.
